Sacrifices To Be Made to Achieve
A) Class 2B Licence by Sept 06
B) Launch my VERY 1ST Biz Venture by Sept 06 (Hopefully can make it though it be tough.)
C) Start studying CS1102C on 1st Aug (Hope I can be disciplined enough. Hmmmm....)
D) Finish Temp Stint @ an Engineering Firm in Loyang till 31st Jul

The Signs B4 WC Semis 1 --> GERMANY vs italia
I read the papers for reports on the WC semi-final between the hosts nation and italia. The SIGNS:
1) The whole Germany is already talking about who is their final opponents when they haven even play the semi-final!!! The press even had an article ridiculing the Italians.
(Reference back to WC 1950: Brazil are thrashing teams like nobody biz & had reached the final where their opponent is Urugary. The whole world was introducing Brazil as the WC champs even b4 the final is played. Final Result: Brazil 1 Urugary 2)
2) In soccer investments, when a team is heavily tipped to beat the handicap --> This spells danger. Germany is everyone's fav to win the WC after the "mighty" Brazil had fallen. Onli the minority bother to notice the Italians. Furthermore, the underdogs had a higher percentile of success in the latter stages of major touraments. My Italia is the underdogs of the day.
3) I always believe in luck do play an important part in almost all the things including soccer. Italia, against the USA in their grp stage, they appeared to be in all sorts of bad luck --> after getting a lead through Gilardino, they conceded an amazing own goal and having their defensive MD Rossi sent off. However, things started to look gd for the Italians with USA themselves having not one but two players sent off. The best part: a perfect legitimate USA goal deemed to be an offside goal --> This is the luck which has brings them to the WC 2006 Final on 9 Jul 06. Again, against the Aussies, no further explanations but onli that they proceed to te next stage with a conned penalty --> now, anyone still argue that the Italians are not destined for greatness in WC 2006? Again, Italy had one of the easiest draw for the quarter-finals against Shevchenko's (a striker who had plyed hia trade in Italy for 7 bloody yrs, making the Italians to know all abt him) Ukraine --> This still no luck?
As I had put in my msn nick b4 the WC starts: Italia is the lucky team this time :)
The Historic Day --> Italy Through to the WC Final after 12 Yrs
Went to CHIMES to witness one of the experiences that I will nvr ever 4get in my life and I damn bloody sure abt that man. I had arranged to met Yanwen & co with my NASS buddies for a night out in CHIMES for the semi-final between Germany and Italia. FYI, Yanwen is a super hardcore Azzurri fan. I had told her that one of the great atmosphere for watching soccer in Singapore will be in CHIMES. True enough, even though its 3am on Tues, CHIMES is still packed. Even met my NS frend, Sharif who is also a proud Italia fan. Cheers! Though 3/4 of the crowd is Deutschland fans, I and Yanwen & co didnt care and goes abt chanting Go Italia Go.
Whenever we shouted ITALIA, the german supporters will fightback and drown out ITALIA voices with DEUTSCHLAND DEUTSCHLAND. But we duly get our defining moment in ET 119th min --> GROSSO SCORES A WONDER CURLER INTO THE GERMANY'S NET!!! I & THE REST OF THE ITALIA FANS ERUPTED IN CHIMES IMMEDIATELY with TOTAL DISMAY & DISBELIEF IN THE EYES OF THE GERMAN FANS!! I am busy hugging almost every Italia fan I could see (I knew I will nvr 4get this experience in my WHOLE LIFE!). Then as I am busy doin all this, DEL PIERO STRIKES AGAIN!!! I ran round CHIMES with the ITALIA flag twice man!!! 3 CHEERS to the ITALIA!!!
Yanwen, told u that ITA will make it to the final le & they did respond to the "call" I made to them to urge them to progress to the final as your MOST SPECIAL birthday present. Congrats on becoming 20 :) opps... I had revealed the woman's secret ... ahhahaha ... and hope u like the present i gotten fo you. I had wanted to try and get a true original Italy National flag for you but its out of stock in the shop I had gone to :( and my friends thought I was joking when I told them I am trying to get an ITA flag for u. Hahhahaa .... they were like saying wat a weird present I was trying to get.
