Lizards
27 Jun: I waked up to a screammmmmmmmmm coming from the kitchen. So, in a blur blur state of mind having jus awoken, I proceed to the kitchen to find my mum on the chair. She called to me," Boy, get rid of the lizard in the cabinet!" I was thinking, oh man. i was moving the utensils out from the cabinet to facilitate the "Murdering of the Big Lizard" project and my mum is bringing away the utensils to e table when I saw the big lizard. I startled a bit and guess wat. My mum immediately leaped with such great agilty onto the chair and screamed with such great vocals!!! I m a bit stunned .... Hahahahaha... I continued with the project and thats abt it.

Italy vs Australia
As expected, the Aussies put up a gd fight and the MIRACLE COACH --> Guuns Hiddink, was soooooooo unlucky not to send the match into xtra-time due to a dubious penalty call by the Ref!!! Wats wrong with the Refs in this WC 2006? Soooooooo bloodly many nonsense calls and yellows and reds!!! I m really disgusted by the standards of the Refs in tis WC. That was NO penalty, Ref. U have ruined the day for Guuns Hiddink (the coach that I respected sooo much). And to my admired Italia, u are soooooooo lucky lucky. As in line with my beliefs in the power of LUCK, I truly believe that the Italia have a strong chance of gg all the way to the final. In e end, the aussies didnt lose --> its the Ref who had lost. Final Score: Italy 1 Socceroos 0
Spain vs France
Wow wow wow! its a match pitching the Experienced and the Youths. I must say the french really surprised me with their tireless running. A big change from their slack and slow playing style in their grp matches. They also have earn quite a few fans ba with their new nvr-say-die spirit, coming back from a goal down to win 3-1. Cool! But my female frends who loves Torres will be soooooooo disappointed with Spain exit from the WC. And when it really matters, the french mastero Zidane produced the most inspiring match in tis yr WC. My last words to Spain: ADIOS SPAIN!! Final Score: Spain 1 France 3

Yest, I was msn-ing with a new frend of mine who had just broken up with her bf. She told me her bf treats her gd at the start of their relationship but after two mths, he stop treating soo nice le. Hmmm... WTF ... Hey, if one has agreed to be in a relationship, den be prepared to commit to it. If after onli a short period den u dun want to commit le ---> that person SUX big time man. Coz it will definitely hurt at least one party in the relationship. Or maybe times have changed, now relationships just come and go like the speed of u changing clothes everyday??? hmmmm .. I wonder ...

Cant be surviving on my soccer investments the whole holidays rite. Hahhaha. And it shd be my last job for the holidays, coz I will be working in tis job till end July. Cheers!

The World is Full of the Unexpected
It is frightening that anything can happen in the next minute and I really mean ANYTHNG. Today, I checked my hp as usual after waking up, only to find myself in for a saddening shock. Mike's (my gd friend) dad had passed away in a accident. The very same person I had seen just a few days ago while watching WC together had died. The very same person who was cursing and swearing at the kelong czech in the match between the czechs and the ghanians had passed away. And the very same person who passed me drinks when I watched WC with Mike and him had gone.
He is a motorist and according to Mike, he is careless while riding, resulting in hitting a kerb and "bwang". I am currently learning Class 2B motor license. This incident will serve as a remainder just how dangerous riding is and WILL definitely be one of the points to consider if I am to ride a bike in future. I remembered once when I mentioned to Mike that I am learning Class 2B and is plannning to ride in future and he discouraged me, saying,"U will CONFIRMED bwang wan lah. 100% wan. Dun do it." Should I ride a bike or not in future? This question will be bothering me for a long long long long time ba3, I guess.
"MIKE, Be Strong! I and the rest of the NASS gang will always be there for u. jie2 ai1 shun4 bian4." As for Mike's dad, may u rest in peace.....................................................

Brazil - The Golden Team
Watched a soccer documentry titled "Brazil - The Golden Team" on Saturday. Yr 1950, The World Cup was held in Brazil. Brazil stormed all the way to the final trashing Sweden (7-1) and then Spain (6-1). Nobody doubted for a minute that this impressive string of results would continue against Uruguay, who, having drawn against Spain, had just three points to their credit. The Brazilians just needed only a draw against Urugary to become World Champions. Almost all the papers at that time had already crowned Brazil the World Champions even before the match had started!!! In front of a capacity crowded of a WHOPPING 174 000, Brazil opening the scoring as expected just after half-time. The whole stadium is already celebrating. However, the Uruguayans had more tricks in their sleeves as they scored an equaliser. With 11mins to go, the Urugaryans scored to take the lead. The whole stadium is total silent, truly total silent. A tragedy is unfolding upon the eyes of the whole nation. Final Score: Brazil 1 Urugary 2
The ball is indeed round. Come the next World Cup 1958. The world is going to witness the birth of two brazil world-class players, with one going on to become the most famous name in soccer, Pele & Garrincha. Both teengers were merely reserves at the time and the Brazil coach released news that he is going to play his reserves in the match against Soviet Unions. Soviet Unions was relieved upon receiving this piece of "good" news. Hahahha... Indeed, Brazil did send their reserves onto the pitch - Pele & Garrincha. Garrincha, a winger was running riot at the flanks. Pele scored a hat-trick in the final too. Final Score: Brazil 5 Sweden 2

However, Pele and Garrincha had aged and there was virtually no preparation for the world cup. Pele was injured in the 1st match --> Brazil lost the next two matches and KO!
1970 World Cup semi-final: Brazil vs Urugary. The Brazilians come into this match hoping to exorcise the ghost of 1950 world cup and they did it. In the final, they were up against one of my highly-rated team Italy. However, this time Brazil thrash the Italians 4 goals to one with Pele starring in his final world cup.
Lessons learnt: 1st, the ball is indeed ROUND (Brazil 1950 tragedy). 2nd, Never go into a tourament unprepared and still think u can win (utter nonsense!).

Japan vs Socceroos
A match held at 3pm is always a test of stamina and endurance, esp in a World Cup match where the tempo of the game is set at the highest. Japan, with a stroke of luck, gotten the lead in the 1st half. However, with a world-class tactician in the mould of Guus Hiddink, the socceroos mounted an astonishing comeback! With 10mins remaining, the score stood at Japan 1 Australia 0. However, the heat finally gotten the better of the Japaneses as they self-destruct with their lack of stamina (they are virtually walking with 10mins left!). Final Score: Japan 1 Australia 3
Czech vs USA
Before the match, I read reports saying the USA is not a weak team and they should be able to contest with the Euro 2004 runner-ups evenly. Thus, I had my doubts on putting my investments on the Czechs. However, with 5mins into the game, a perfect cross was sent into the penalty box by an unmarked Grygera. A towering JAN KOLLER came rushing to meet the cross and bullet the ball into the net! The Czechs are one nil up, as I breathed a sign of relief. After this opening disappointment, the USA tried to mount a comeback with USA Cpt Reyna hitting a great shot past Peter Cech (probably the best GK in the world at the moment). But Alas, the shot the post. Then here comes the hero of the match, Arsenal's Tomas Rosicky who hit a screaming shot from way outside 25 yards into the goal! After that, the result is beyond doubt with the Rosicky adding his second goal later in the 2nd half. Final Score: Czech 3 USA 0

Italy, the soccer team that I had admired because of the world renown defence, is up against a Ghana team which I had little info on except that their midfield is quite gd. True enough, Ghana gave me a few scares with they willingness to run for every ball but they failed to put the ball into Italia net. I believe Ghana's failure is down to their inexperience at the highest level. They have given so many corner kicks to the Italia ( A whopping 12 corner kicks for the Italia), and as expected the Italias scored from one of the corner kicks. Furthermore, the Ghanaians actually had more attempts at goal then the Italians, BUT they cant scored whereas the Italians scored 2 goals. Final Score: Italy 2 Ghana 0

Haircut
Went for a haircut todae coz my hair just cannot make it le ... hahaha ... enjoyed the conversation with my hair-stylist Keno. Keno commented that my hair is sooooo dry and stiff and guessed correctly that i never used hair conditioner. I said I too lazy to use lo .. opps ... I like my new spikey hairstyle :) todae while msn with my good friend Feng who told me he is surprised that I actually wanted to cut a short hairdo coz I used to keep my hair long long ... makes me think of my NASS times ..... And I will use hair conditioners in future liaoz ...

Red Robot Model
Today I spent close to ONE HR fixing some red robot model that my 6-yr-old neighbour had just bought. GOSH! The stickers used on the robot is DAMN BLOODY SMALL! I feel that my neighbour shd have done the whole fixing process himself as thats also one of the fun part of the robot model. Or else the manufacturer can always sell the whole model in one complete piece instead of dismantling everything.... hmmm ....
"Secret of the Sexes" Part One
Watch CD1 of a VERY INTERESTING documentry titled "Secret of the Sexes" which had me glued to my computer. In the documentry, a group of professors and scientists put a group of volunteers through a series of tests and tried to understand the differences between gender. One very hilarious test puts the male volunteers to watch two reporters reporting the news. One reporter is a man while the other is A SEXY & ATTRACTIVE LADY wearing a super LOW-CUT blouse. When the male volunteers were asked to recall wat the reporters were reporting, they could give a fair share of the male reporter's account BUT they could only remember how attractive the lady reporter is and how BIG HER BOOBS are!!! Hmmmm .... Says a lot about man ar ..... hahahha ... One amazing and controversial theory by one professor John Manning is that we can actually determine how manly or feminine JUST BY LOOKING AT the palms!!! He says," The longer the ring finger relative to the index finger, the more testosterone u had." The more testosterone one has, the more manly attributes one has in general. The ultimate test is a baby test --> change the diaper of a baby. This test is an empathy test. While all the females have done well in this test whereby after they finished changing the diaper, they go on to carry the baby and started naturally to connect with the baby, the guys just finished changing the diaper and thats it as expected. However, one guy DID do the same thing as the females, ie connect with the baby. Phew! At least there is still one guy to save the day for the males! hahaha .... Cant wait to watch CD2 tmr!! Hahaha....

Last Week Recap
29 May 06
Went to catch a movie - X-Men 3: The Last Stand with Mike and Tat @ Lido, Orchard. I felt the movie was not as good as I had expected, or was it my expectations of the movie is too high?? The respective duels between the characters were TOO SHORT --> damn NOT EXCITING!! A sentiment shared by Mike and Tat too. However, one thing the movie had done right was the title coz most of the main characters were either dead or lost their mutant powers by the end of the show.
After the show, we went SHOPPING!! Its has been a LONG TIME since I had done shopping. We managed to cover most of the big shopping malls and I spent almost 200 bucks on onli two items. Burnt a pocket in my pockets but the FEELING IS GD! One funny thing: MIke and I bought a pair of PUMA shoes each of the same design though of different colour. His has Japan Colours while Mine has Italy colours. WORLD CUP is COMING! And when we decided to buy one pair each, the salesman looks blur coz I believed he thinks we were onli trying out the shoes and not buying, somemore two pairs at one go. Hahaha.

Early in the morning I went back to NUS to review my Exam results. After which, I went for a Sales Temp Training at Haw Par Centre for the just ended PC Show @ SunTec. Thats where I met some of my new friends including Yan Wen, Liyong, Jia Jun .........

This is my 1st time calling Party World KTV to book a room coz I am gg to KTV with my NASS buddies --> Mike, Tat, Leng and Fu. We went to the next nearest KTV in our vicinity --> Loyang Party World coz Tampines KBox is under renovation. We had such CRAZY TIME there with some R21 antics being performed by us! OMG! If we were to tell anyone we were uni students, I sweared no one will believe us! Hahaha. I, Mike and Tat were discussing that the video clips taken by our HPs must be transferred to our comp asap in case our HPs is lost. Then I think there will be a NUS Incident liaoz!!! whahhaha....

Went to Dlb O with Mike, Tat , Leng & his gf. OMG! The crowd is not as gd as expected. Mostly matured office people hanging arnd. But I had a a great time towards the end while we were dancing after having quite a few drinks --> Two house pours, One graveyard, One Long Island, Two house pours again. Mike and I managed to close down one grp of gals and danced with them. The gals were also very onz friendly to dance with us too :)After that, Leng taught me to go ask for their numbers onli to be rejected ... ahahahahh ...

We went to the next nearest KTV in our vicinity --> Loyang Party World coz Tampines KBox is under renovation. We had such CRAZY TIME there with some R21 antics being performed by us! OMG! If we were to tell anyone we were uni students, I sweared no one will believe us! Hahaha. Went to Dlb O with Mike, Tat , Leng & his gf. OMG! The crowd is not as gd as expected. Mostly matured office people hanging arnd. But I had a a great time towards the end while we were dancing after having quite a few drinks --> Two house pours, One graveyard, One Long Island, Two house pours again. Mike and I managed to close down one grp of gals and danced with them. The gals were also very onz friendly to dance with us too :)After that, Leng taught me to go ask for their numbers onli to be rejected ... ahahahahh ...

PC Show 2006
Just finished my 2nd job for the holidays as a sales temp for DELL ASIA. As expected, the crowd is super large during the closing stages of the PC Show. Get to know quite a few new friends.
Just finished my 2nd job for the holidays as a sales temp for DELL ASIA. As expected, the crowd is super large during the closing stages of the PC Show. Get to know quite a few new friends.
In the process of doing the job, I am scouting for a labtop too. Planning to buy a labtop for my Uni studies le --> a big hole in my pocket! haha ... hopefully I can get a free labtop with my investments in the coming World Cup 2006 ... WHAHAHA! May my DA BO GONG be with me :)

Then, after PC Show went for dinner with some of my new friends at SunTec City Pizza Hut. It is June's birthday, so we gave a pizza hut trear. I had a terrible time there --> horrible service! One order takes 20-30mins for the food to be served! And somemore Singapore is calling for better service ... irony ...<----the usual nonsense me with June
After which, I went to meet my NS buddies @ Marina Sq for a game of snooker. One of them --> Allan is the birthday boy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLAN!
Cool! It seems like I met a lot of friends and do a lot of things in one day... haha ... its time for rest now ... Cheers!
